War 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Hrithik Roshan–Jr NTR starrer nears ₹200 crore mark despite weekday slowdown

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s much-hyped action entertainer War 2 continues its run at the box office, inching closer to the ₹200 crore milestone in India. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film—marking Jr NTR’s Bollywood debut—was released on August 14 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

War 2 Day 6 Collection in India

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2 earned ₹8.35 crore net on Tuesday (Day 6), showing only a slight dip from Monday’s ₹8.75 crore. With this, the film’s total domestic collection stands at ₹192.85 crore.

Occupancy Report

The Hindi version recorded a 23.42% occupancy on Tuesday. Delhi-NCR led the Hindi circuit with over 1,200 shows, followed by Mumbai with 862 shows. Other metros like Ahmedabad, Surat, and Pune hosted 300+ shows each.

In Tamil Nadu, War 2 logged a 17.80% occupancy, with Chennai leading at 83 shows. Most other regions had fewer than 50 screenings.

The Telugu version posted the lowest turnout at 16.17% occupancy, with Hyderabad dominating at 360 shows. Vizag (117 shows) and Bengaluru (96 shows) followed.

Clash with Coolie

War 2 is facing stiff competition at the box office from Rajinikanth’s Coolie, which is enjoying a stronger weekday hold. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh called War 2’s Monday performance “disappointing,” noting the sharp drop after its extended weekend.

Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, the film also stars Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor. War 2 is part of YRF’s spy universe and has been one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2025.

While the India net stands at nearly ₹193 crore, the worldwide collection is yet to be revealed.
